At minimum, homes built by Licensed Residential Builders must have 2-5-10 Year Home Warranty Insurance. This inspection evaluates all systems and components of your home for claims on your new home warranty.
Insurance companies require an inspection every 5 days during the heating season and every 30 days for the rest of the year for your insurance to be valid. Instinct Inspections can perform and document visits to fulfill insurance requirements to protect your investment.
Instinct Inspections is owned and operated by Dane and Jayne Touchet. Dane is a licensed member of The Home Inspectors Association BC (HIABC, CPBC Licence #83461) . As a long time local of Whistler and the Sea to Sky, Dane is familiar with the unique geography and climate within this region. This knowledge can ensure that any unique problems do not go undetected.
With a 20 year background in building maintenance and aviation maintenance, Dane has honed his inspections skills developing a keen eye for the smallest details. Prior to being part of the maintenance industry, he held positions at some of the most reputable hotels in Canada where he developed a willingness to go above and beyond for the client.
This diverse experience gives Dane the unique knowledge and ability to assist clients based on his extensive knowledge of proper building practices. This will allow him to detect deficiencies within specific systems and components of a home while providing a high level of customer service.
Everyone involved, especially the buyers and sellers, need to understand the condition of the property.
